We can do all things through Christ...
Hello families,
It is day six in Costa Rica! Today, at site 2, we poured concrete in a neighbor's house to give him and his family a floor to sleep on that was not dirt. The neighbor (Alphonso) was truly amazed how much effort everyone gave and was extremely grateful. He and his wife helped us and encouraged us every step of the way! After finishing their foundation and putting the finishing layers on our site 2 house foundation, we took a team trip to go zip lining. We all had a great experience until we saw Kenzie E. zip lining upside-down. Many of us did the same and were scared as we hung two hundred feet in the air with no sense of direction! After that, the boys cheered on the girls as they played a pick up game. The little local girls sat in awe seeing our girls playing tonight. They were amazed at how good our girls were and how they could play just like the boys. It was hard to sit on the sidelines watching others play, but it was all better once we took a quick stop to Supermercado for some two liter bottles of mango juice. We had an awesome dinner and night time devo before going to bed.

Hello Families!
Today we worked at the construction site (1) with what we could do. We continued to grind out the foundation of the house, and every person gave their best effort to continue the project given to us. After the hard work at the construction site, we all had a great opportunity to zip line through the mountains of Costa Rica and were fascinated with the experience. Later that night, we as boys observed the girls only pick up game against the Costa Rican chicas and cheered them onto the victory. We are loving the atmosphere here and will keep working hard to finish our amazing mission.
