Mission Complete
Today we had another wonderful day, as we visited a couple different ministries in town and learned more about their operations. We also visited friends in the community that we have built for in the past. This evening we went into town and had a wonderful “Mexican” meal, prepared by Vincent, a gentleman we built a house for during the Alumni trip. Here are few highlights from each team member…
Buddy: My favorite part of the trip was giving the keys to the house away to the family.
Myki: Talking with Tony from i6eight and learning about how I can make a difference no matter how small.
Johnny: I really enjoyed the time we got to spend serving others, building relationships along the way with the people serving and the people we get to serve. The smiles that were created along the trip are unforgettable and will be carried with us for as long as we can remember.
Jake: My favorite part of the trip was the building of the house for the family and the growing of relationships with the kids.
JABM: Seeing old friends and making new ones brings a completeness
Ben: Serving food to the community.
Ashley: Talking with Mariana and Cautri and learning to speak more Spanish
Grace: Realizing how important it is to count my blessings everyday and connecting with the people in Mexico.
Annie: Stuccoing the house.
Jack: Handing over the keys to the family and blessing the house.
Jake: My favorite part of the trip was coming back and building stronger relationships with previous families that we have built for in the past.
Noah: Growing closer with people on the team.
Mr. Vaughan: Spending an entire day with the team.
Katie: Talking with Mariana and Cautri
Mrs. Nelson: My favorite part of the trip was watching the team members bond with each other.
Caden: My Favorite part of the trip was blessing the house and finally giving the keys of the house to the family.
Randy: Learning more about the positive social, and economic cultural benefits of providing a structure for families and communities in areas of need.
Jamie: I loved serving dinner to the community and practicing my Spanish with the women there. I also loved meeting new people on the trip!
Sarah: My favorite part of the trip was when we did the community outreach and provided food for a bunch of families. I loved being able to communicate with the people and using my Spanish and I also loved growing closer with the team during the past week.
Trevor: My favorite part of the trip was serving food to the people at the church center we built last year, and seeing my old friends I met here last year.
Mr. W: This team has been amazing. It feels like we have been here for two weeks, because of all that we accomplished. I think and pray that each team member experienced change in their lives, God will do that when you submit to His plans. I truly believe that each team member was called to this team and this experience. I know that each one of them offered that unique gift in the successful completion to our mission trip. Praise God.
Mrs. P: My favorite part of this particular trip was truly SEEING the people in the
