Our Second Day!

Day #2 in Honduras, and who knew we would get to help them celebrate their Father's Day!!! Upon arriving at our church this morning, we learned that Honduras was celebrating their Father's Day. It was such an honor getting to celebrate a special day with such wonderful and welcoming people. They even asked us to sing a couple songs for the them, which we did! It was a very exciting morning.

After listening to a beautiful sermon and experienced church in Honduras, we ate lunch at a true Honduran restaurant. We left the restaurant stuffed yet satisfied!!

While our day was filled with wonderful and uplifting moments, I would say that the highlight of the day was learning to Salsa!! Nathan actually took time to teach us all how to Salsa! The students started off a little hesitant, but they picked it up quickly and even enjoyed learning each new step! I must say, we have some talented dancers on our team!! :)

The bond that this team has already created is such a blessing, and we are proud to have each student on this trip. They are having a great time, they are practicing their Spanish, and they are embracing the culture.
