Dance Dance Dance

This morning after breakfast we introduced ourselves to the kids with our funny rhymes written by Amelia. Then we taught them the dance Stefphon choreographed to Fight Song, which they loved.
We went into town to get groceries and other supplies. This ended up being a very fun bonding experience for the team and there may or may not have been some cart races down the aisles as we gathered a large amount of bananas and orange juice!

But the best was yet to come. It’s a big treat at the Hope House to have a pizza party, and so when we rolled out the pizza and carnival games it was a great kickoff to an amazing night. Honestly, it was more fun than homecoming. Everyone danced, and it wasn’t exactly graceful but it was awesome! I danced with several enthusiastic kids and it was hard to sit down before someone else came to find me for the next dance.


It was so amazing to see the laughter and smiles and excitement coming from all the kids, and I loved every second of it.
