We are Blessed!
Growing together at our Costa Rica Team Retreat!

The Costa Rica Team arrived in Frisco on Friday evening. From the beginning, the whole team was invested into the retreat and yearned to grow closer with one another, knowing the importance of a tight knit team on a missions trip. Upon arrival, the dinner crew cooked up some delicious spaghetti, while the others played a round of Mafia (an intense trial game:)). We ate the spaghetti and had great conversation, leading into our first night time devotion, in which everyone was open and vulnerable with each other. Our team grew closer and we were very excited for what more was to come on the trip. In the late hours on Friday, many of us decided to continue learning about others, and deepening our relationships through “deep talk.” The next morning, the breakfast crew flipped up some mean pancakes while the snow fluttered down outside. It felt so comfortable and warm inside, and we continued on with a new devotion. Afterwards, a few of us designed our team’s discovery shirt up in the loft. Soon after, we all piled on mountains of clothes for the tubing hill, though it did warm up a little as we arrived. Tubers around us watched as we created a 20 person tubing train and sped down the hill. The team had a fun time at the tubing hill. Arriving back at the home, we played many rounds of 3 hack whack, mafia, pounce and more. The dinner crew (Ryan, Aeva, Soby, Trevor, Shultz, Mike) created some crispy grilled sandwiches and baked potatoes. We experienced our last retreat devotion, and did some team bonding as well.
Many left the memorable retreat feeling like it was very successful and one of the best they have been on.
