Hi families!
We are SO excited to see ya’ll soon! You have some incredible kids and they have said they are leaving a part of their heart in Memphis. This was our last full day here and it was a tough day for the students saying goodbye to the Boys and Girls Club kids - it’s amazing the relationships they built in 4 days. There were quite a few tears which said a lot about the impact they had on each other.
Tonight, AJ said that his favorite part of the week was that instead of looking at the Boys and Girls Club kids as a project like he did at the beginning of the week, he ended viewing them as peers and people he wanted to spend time with and hang out with. That sums up so much of our heart for this trip. We have seen the power of relationship.
