Student Blogs!
Yesterday, we woke up after our first full day’s adventure! After eating breakfast we were on our way to the International School! As we pulled up our expectations were shattered as to how nice the school actually is. It’s hard to believe it but it’s very similar to Valor. We toured the school and proceeded to eat Thai hot dogs and scrambled eggs for lunch. After lunch, we rejoined some of the Seniors to talk more about Thai culture and their lives here in Thailand. The majority of the kids have parents that serve as missionaries. It’s been cool to talk to the seniors because they too are applying for college in the States. Over dinner we’ve been able to complain about the ACT together :) After touring the school, we headed over to their new campus. It was HUGE and you couldn’t believe how much work they’ve done. Us Colorado kids transitioned from blizzards to 105-degree weather so we crunched in some time to get some iced coffee and cool down.
Next, we headed back to the school to play some volleyball. Let’s just say some pants were ripped, glasses were broken, and our skills were lacking. Mom, I AM OKAY. After getting defeated in volleyball, we headed over to dinner and rejoined the Seniors from Grace. There was a good time of spiritual conversations between the students. After some great time of fellowship...we briefly debriefed the day and hit the hay!
