Matthew 5:16
This morning we went to the well. There were so many people there trying to get water so we were able to carry a lot of jugs up for them. It was cool to see how happy they were that we were carrying their stuff.
Then we went on a tour of Hope Haven and we were able to get to hangout with the kids after their porridge. We played tag and ring around the rosie; it was a lot of fun. Then we got to visit the classrooms with the babies, preschoolers and kindergarteners.
For lunch we ate beans, potatoes, and cornmeal with the kids and staff. Then we went to the 6th and 7th grade classrooms to teach VBS. The kids asked so many great questions. We ate a great dinner, pasta and meat sauce, and during debrief we talked about different ways we can help.
